Repairs
October 22 @ 14:30 – 16:00
Part of a series of monthly webinars to help social housing residents understand their rights, how to stand up for them, and how to get better treatment and services from landlords.
You have the right to an effective, efficient and timely repairs and maintenance service and there are timescales that your landlord needs to respond to certain issues in, based on how serious they are.
This webinar will cover:
– how you know what repairs your landlords are responsible for
– what counts as a repair priority and how quickly your landlord should be responding to things that need fixing
– what to do if your landlord isn’t doing what they should be
– the rise in complaints around disrepair and what’s being done about it
– what a good repairs service looks like
Speakers to be confirmed. There’ll be lots of opportunity for your questions and for discussion.
Session is open to all social housing residents. Closed captions will be enabled.
