Social Tenants Access to Information Requests (STAIRS) consultation

Access to information about the management of your social housing has been a topic that keeps coming up in Four Million Homes.

The Social Housing White Paper included a commitment to introduce an access for information scheme for residents of housing associations and other private registered providers. The former Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, now the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, is running a consultation to seek residents’ views on the information that providers will need to share under the new Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs).

This webinar looks at what is covered under the new proposals. For more information and to submit an individual response to the consultation, click here. Closing date has been extended until 22 July.

We had a technical difficulty with this webinar so apologies for not being able to show the presenter all the way through!
